BE it enacted by Parliament in the Twenty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. Short title :- This Act may be called THE DHOTIES (ADDITIONAL EXCISE DUTY) REPEAL ACT, 1976. 2. Repeal of Act 39 of 1953 :- The Dhoties (Additional Excise Duty) Act, 1953, is hereby repealed.
