Field Worker (Family Planning) (Class III) (Panchayat Service) Recruitment Rules, 1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec. 227 read with Sec. 274 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1993 (Guj. 18 of 1993) and in supersession of all the rules made on behalf, the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of Field Worker (Family Planning) Class III), (Panchayat Service) namely: 1. 1. :- These rules may be called the Field Worker (Family Planning) (Class III) (Panchayat Service) Recruitment Rules, 1998. 2. 2. :- Appointment to the post of Field Worker (Family Planning) (Class III) (Panchayat Service) shall be made by direct selection. 3. 3. :- To be eligible for appointment by direct selection to the post mentioned in Rule, 2 a candidate shall (a) not be less than 25 years and not more than 40 years of age; (b) have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination; (c) be married and shall not have more than two living children; (d) have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi. 4. 4. :- A selected candidate shall be on probation for a period of one year. 5. 5. :- A selected candidate shall be required to undergo such training for such period and pass such post training examination in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government. 6. 6. :- A selected candidate shall be required to pass the departmental examination and an examination in Gujarati or Hindi or both in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government. 7. 7. :- A selected candidate shall be required to furnish security and surety bond in such form for such amount and for such period as may be prescribed by the Government.
