It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Agricultural Produce Markets (Second Amendment) Act, 2015. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. 2. Amendment of section 31G of Guj. XX of 1964 :- In the Gujarat Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1963, in section 31G, in sub-section (1), for the words "not less than five markets", the words "more than one market" shall be substituted.
