Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE I Gujarat Appropriation (Excess Expenditure) Act, 1970 12 of 1970 [22 December 1970] An act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Gujarat to the services of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967. It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Gujarat Appropriation (Excess Expenditure) Act, 1970. 2. Issue Of Rs. 2,48,65,656 Out Of The Consolidated Fund Of The State For The Year 1966-67 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Gujarat there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 4 of the Schedule hereto annexed, amounting in the aggregate to the sum of two crores, forty eight lakhs, sixty five thousand, six hundred and fifty six rupees towards defraying the several charges which have come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty first day of March, 1967 in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the said Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Gujarat by this Act shall be deemed to have been appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967.
