X of 1962 Gujarat Co-Operative Societies (Second Amendment) Act, 2013 19 of 2013 [19 September 2013] AN ACT farther to amend the Gujarat Co-operative Societies Act, 1961. It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the Gujarat Co-operative Societies (Second Amendment) Act, 2013. 2. Amendment of section 17 of Guj. X of 1962 :- In the Gujarat Co-operative Societies Act, 1961 (Guj. X of 1962), in section 17, in sub-section (1), after clause (a), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- "(aa) to amalgamate with another society registered under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 (39 of 2002);".
