Repeal GUJARAT CONTINGENCY FUND (TEMPORARY INCREASE) ACT, 1988 2 of 1988 [11th March, 1988] An Act to provide for temporary increase in the Contingency Fund of the State of Gujarat. It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Contingency Fund (Temporary Increase) Act. 1988. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st October, 1987. 2. Temporary Increase in Contingency Fund of State :- Notwithstanding anything contained in section 2 of the Gujarat Contingency Fund Act, 1960, (Gujarat IV of 1960). the extent of the sum of thirty crores of rupees specified in Section 2 of the said Act as the sum to be paid into the Contingency Fund of the State of Gujarat shall, during the period beginning from the commencement of this Act and ending on the 31st March, 1988 be raised to one hundred thirty crores of rupees. 3. Repeal :- (1) The Gujarat Contingency Fund (Temporary Increase) Ordinance. 1987 is hereby repealed.
