Charges Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (Consent fees for establishing generation set) Regulations, 2003 In exercise of the powers conferred under Sec. 15 (2) of the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003 and all other power enabling in this behalf, the Commission hereby makes the following regulations. 1. Short title and commencement :- (i) These regulations may be called the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (Consent fees for establishing generation set) Regulations, 2003. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Application to be accompanied with charges :- Every application made to the Commission seeking consent to establish or acquire a generating station or to extend or replace any major unit of plant works pertaining to the generation of electricity in generating station shall be accompanied by such charges as may be prescribed. 3. Mode of Payment :- The fees/charges payable under these regulation shall be paid by means of bank draft or pay order, drawn in favour of the "Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission", payable at Ahmedabad. 4. Charges :- Until further orders are made by the Commission, the charges mentioned in Regulation 2 above shall be as follows : (a) Application Registration Charges : (Payable along with the application) Rs. 10 (Ten) KVA subject to ceiling of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand). (b) Consent Charges : (Payable on demand at the time of approval) Rs. 20 (Twenty) per KVA upto 100 MVA and at the rate of Rs. 40 (Forty) per KVA above 100 MVA.
