Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (Establishment of Ombudsman) Regulations, 2004 In exercise of the powers conferred under Sec. 181 read with sub- sec. (6) of Sec. 42 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) and all powers enabling it in that behalf, the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission hereby makes the following Regulations providing for the appointment and functioning of an Ombudsman in the State of Gujarat for redressal of grievances of consumers.
