Repeal and savings Gujarat Legislative Assembly Members' Pension (Repeal) Act, 2001 24 of 2001 [] An Act to repeal the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Members'Pension Act, 1984. It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Member's Pension (Repeal) Act, 2001. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 8th August, 1989. 2. Repeal and savings :- (1) The Gujarat Legislative Assembly Members' Pension Act, 1984 (Guj. 18 of 1989) shall stand repealed. (2) The repeal of the said Act shall not affect any payment already made by the State Government under the said Act in pursuance of any direction, judgment or order of the Court.
