It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. Short title and commencement :- (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1.7.2002. 2. Repeal of Guj. X of 1960 :- The Gujarat New Capital (Periphery) Control Act, 1960 (Guj. X of 1960), is hereby repealed. 3. Repeal :- The Gujarat New Capital (Periphery) Control (Repeal) Ordinance, 2003 (Guj. Ord. 1 of 2003), is hereby repealed.
