Appointing authority GUJARAT PANCHAYAT SERVICE (APPOINTING AUTHORITIES) RULES, 1967 No.KP/l72/PRR-66-67-JH.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 323 read with clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 102, clause (3) of section 122 and clause (3) of Section 142 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1961(Guj.VI of 1962), the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules, namely :- 1. Short title :- These rules may be called the Gujarat Panchayat Service (Appointihg Authorities) Rules, 1967. 2. Appointing authority :- Each of the authorities specified in column I of the Table annexed hereto shall have power to make appointment to posts specified against it in column 2 of the said table.
