Amendment of Schedule to Guj. 8 of 2009. Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2014 25 OF 2014 [28 November 2014] AN ACT further to amend the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. WHEREAS the G S F C Education Society, Vadodara had applied to the State Government under the provisions of the Gujarat Private Universities Guj. 8 of 2009. Act, 2009 to establish a Private University in the State; AND WHEREAS the said application has been scrutinized by the Scrutiny Committee and on the report of Scrutiny Committee, the State Government has issued the letter of intent to the sponsoring body for establishment of the Private University; AND WHEREAS the State Government is satisfied that the sponsoring body has complied with the conditions of letter of intent as provided in section 10 of the said Act and has also established the Endowment Fund as per the letter of intent; NOW, THEREFORE, the Government of Gujarat, in accordance with the provisions of section 10 of the said Act, includes the institution specified in column 2 of the Schedule as the Private University, by the name and location of the aforesaid sponsoring body as specified in column 4 of the Schedule. It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement. :- (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2014. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. 2. Amendment of Schedule to Guj. 8 of 2009. :- In the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, in the Schedule, after the entry at serial No. 14, the following entry shall be inserted, namely:- Sr. No. Name and Address of the Private University.x Details of Registration and Registration Number. Sponsoring Body. 1. 2. 3. 4. "15. G S F C University, Vadodara. Trust Registration - Vadodara, No. F-2607- Vadodara (under the Gujarat Public Trusts Act, 1950).
