It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows : 1. Short title. :- This Act may be called the 1 Gujarat Tax on Sale of Electricity (Repeal) Act, 2002. 1. Published in the Gujarat Government Gazette, Extraordinary, Part V, No. 13, dated 21.3.2002 at page 13-2. 2. Repeal of Guj. 5 of 1985. :- On and from the 1st April, 2002, the Gujarat Tax on Sale of Electricity Act, 1985 (Guj. 5 of 1985), shall stand repealed.
