SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE HIGH COURT OF MYSORE (ALTERATION OF NAME) (FOURTH ADAPTATION) RULES, 1973 In exercise of the powers under conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of India and the previous approval of the Governor of Mysore, the Chief Justice, High Court of Mysore, is pleased to make the following rules for the purpose of giving effect to the alteration of the name of the State of Mysore by the Mysore State (Alteration of Name) Act, 1973. 1. . :- These rules may be called the High Court of Mysore (Alteration of Name) (Fourth Adaptation) Rules, 1973. 2. . :- They shall come into force on 1st November, 1973. 3. . :- With effect from the 1st day of November, 1973, the rules set out in the Schedule given below and any other rules made by the Chief Justice, High Court of Mysore by virtue of similar powers, hereinafter called the principal rules, shall stand amended, to the extent to which such amendment is necessary for the purpose of giving effect to the alteration of the name of the State of Mysore by the Mysore State (Alteration of Name) Act, 1973, as mentioned below: Unless the context otherwise requires the expressions mentioned in column (1) wherever they occur in the principal rules, shall be read as the corresponding expression mentioned in column (2) below.
