Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Indian Lunacy Act, 1912 (Central Act IV of 1912), in its application to the Province of Madras for the purpose hereinafter appearing; 2[It is hereby enacted as follows:--] 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the Indian, Lunacy (Madras Amendment) Act, 1943. 2. Amendment of section 33-A, Central Act IV of 1912 :- In section 33-A of the Indian Lunacy Act, 1912 (Central Act IV of 1912), for the word and figures " section 14," the word and figures "sections 7, 10, 14," shall be substituted.
