Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 (Karnataka Act 15 of 1965) for the purposes hereinafter appearing; Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the sixty first year of the Republic of India, as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2010. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment Of Section 7A :- In the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 (Karnataka Act 15 o f 1965), in section 7A in sub-section (2) for the words "three rupees, six rupees and three rupees" the words "six rupees, twelve rupees and six rupees" shall respectively be substituted.
