Repeal of Karnataka Act 12 of 1974 KARNATAKA SHEEP AND SHEEP PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT (REPEAL) ACT, 2002 6 of 2003 [28th March, 2003] An Act to repeal the Karnataka Sheep and Sheep Products Development Act, 1973. Whereas, it is expedient to repeal the Karnataka Sheep and Sheep Products Development Act, 1973 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1974), for the purposes hereinafter appearing; Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the Fifty-third year of the Republic of India, as follows: 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Sheep and Sheep Products Development (Repeal) Act, 2002. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the First day of April, 2002. 2. Repeal of Karnataka Act 12 of 1974 :- The Karnataka Sheep and Sheep Products Development Act, 1973 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1974) (hereinafter referred to as the repealed Act), is hereby repealed: Provided that such repeal shall not affect anything done, any action taken or any right, obligation or liability accrued or incurred under the repealed Act prior to the date of such repeal.
