WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957, for the purpose hereinafter appearing; BE it enacted in the Thirty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- ( 1 ) This Act may be called the Kerala Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 1983. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment Of Section 2 :- In sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957 (6 of 1957), for the words eight hundred lakhs of rupees, the words fifteen crores of rupees shall be substituted.
