WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Kerala Electricity Duty Act, 1963, for the purpose hereinafter appearing; Be it enacted in the Twenty-eight Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Kerala Electricity Duty (Amendment) Act, 1977. 2. Amendment Of Section 8 :- In section 8 of the Kerala Electricity Duty Act, 1963 (23 of 1963), for the words "twelve per cent", the words "eighteen per cent" shall be substituted.
