WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the Lepers Act, 1898, in its application to West Bengal; It is hereby enacted as follows : 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the Lepers (West Bengal Repealing) Act, 1985. 2. Repeal of Act 3 of 1898 :- The Lepers Act, 1898, in its application to West Bengal, is hereby repealed.
