(1) of Sec.3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order, namely: 1. Short title and commencement. :- (1) The order may be called the Levy Sugar (Retail Issue Price) Order, 2002. (2) It shall come into force with effect from 1.3.2002. 2. Retail Issue Price of Levy Sugar. :- (1) This Retail Issue Price of Levy Sugar distributed through the Public Distribution System has been fixed at Rs. 13.50 per kg. (2) The Price determined under this paragraph shall apply to the sugar sold on or after the date of commencement of this Order.
