Amendment Of Section 17 Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Cattle Preservation (Amendment) Act, 1962 [20 July 1961] An Act further to amend the Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Cattle Preservation Act, 1959. Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Thirteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Cattle Preservation (Amendment) Act, 1962. 2. Amendment Of Section 17 :- Section 17 of the Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Cattle Preservation Act, 1959, shall be renumbered as sub-section (1) thereof and after sub-section (1) as so renumbered, the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:- "(2) The State Government may, by notification, delegate to any officer, not below the rank of a Collector, all or any of its powers under sub-section (1)".
