Validation Madhya Pradesh Ceiling On Agricultural Holdings (Validation) Act, 1982 12 of 1983 [19 February 1983] An Act to validate certain appointments made and proceedings taken under the Madhya Pradesh Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings Act, 1960. Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Thirty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows : 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings (Validation) Adhiniyam, 1982. 2. Validation of appointment of Additional Settlement Commissioner :- All persons whose names are specified in column (2) of the Schedule and who passed orders, in the cases and on the dates specified in the corresponding entries in columns (3) and (4) thereof, as competent authority shall, notwithstanding the fact that their appointment as competent authority was not made in accordance with sub-clause (iii) of clause (e) of section 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings Act, 1960 (No. 20 of 1960) be and shall be deemed always to have been validly appointed and continued as competent authority within the meaning of sub-clause (iii) of clause (c) of the said section on the dates on which they passed the said orders. 3. Validation :- Notwithstanding anything contained in any judgment, decree or order of a court all things done, proceedings and actions taken and order passed by the competent authority to whom section 2 applies shall be and shall be deemed always to have been validly done, taken or passed as if the said persons were validly appointed as competent authority under sub-clause (iii) of clause (e) of section 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings Act, 1960 (No. 20 of 1960) before such things were done, proceedings and actions were taken and orders were passed and the validity of any such thing, proceeding, action or order shall not be called into question in any court of law or before any other authority whatsoever merely on the ground that their appointment was not made in accordance with the provisions of sub-clause (iii) of clause (c) of section 2 of the said Act.
