Received the assent of the Government on the 8-10-1965; published in the "Madhya Pradesh Gazette" Extraordinary on the 14-10-1965. 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Gram Swachhta Tatha Lok Prabandh Nirsan Adhiniyam, 1965. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint. 2. Repeal :- The Madhya Pradesh Village Sanitation and Public Management Act, 1920 (No. 11 of 1920), is hereby repealed.
