Repeal And Saving Madhya Pradesh Jan Shiksha (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2010 13 of 2010 [03 April 2010] An Act to amend the Madhya Pradesh Jan Shiksha Adhiniyam, 2002. Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Sixtyfirst Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Jan Shiksha (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2010. 2. Amendment Of Section 2 :- In Section 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Shiksha Adhiniyam, 2002 (No. 15 of 2002) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for clause(e), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(e) "Jan Shiksha Prabhari" means Principal or In-Charge Principal of Higher Secondary School or High School to be designated as Jan Shiksha Kendra.". 3. Amendment Of Section 14 :- In Section 14 of the Principal Act,- (i) for sub-section (1) the following sub-section.shall be substituted, namely:- "(1) The State Government shall designate a few or all of the Higher Secondary Schools or High Schools as Jan Shiksha Kendra in every district for improving the quality of elementary and adult education."; (ii) In sub-section (2), for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(b) Each Jan Shiksha Kendra shall have two jan Shikshaks to act as coordinator between the Kendra and its schools, and the Jan Shikshaks shall be selected from amongst the teachers in the district.". 4. Repeal And Saving :- (1 ) The Madhya Pradesh Jan Shiksha.(Sanshodhan) Adhyadesh, 2010 (No. 1 of 2010) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the said Ordinance, anything done or any action taken under the said ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provision of this Act.
