Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legisleture in the Fifty Ninth year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- (I) This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Vat (Amendment) Act, 2008. 2. Amendment Of Section 57 :- I n Section 57 of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No.20 of 2002) in sub-section (17), for the words "five times", the words "three times" shall be substituted. 3. Repeal And Saving :- (1) the Madhya Pradesh VAT Amendment Ordinance, 2008 (No.1 of 2008) is hereby repealed (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the said Ordinance, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
