WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Madras District Boards (Amendment) Act, 1957 (Madras Act XIII of 1957), for the purpose hereinafter appearing; BE it enacted in the Ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- - 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the "Madras District Boards (Amendment) Act, 1958." 2. Amendment of Madras Act XIII, 1957 :- In the Madras District Boards (Amendment) Act, 1957 (Madras Act XIII of 1957), for the expression "31st day of October 1958" the expression "31st day of January 1959" shall be substituted.
