Repeal and savings Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner (Amendment) Act, 2012 24 of 2012 [14 October 2012] An Act further to amend the Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner Act, 2003. Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner (Amendment) Act, 2012. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on and from 30th April, 2012. 2. Amendment of Sec. 11, Rajasthan Act No. 13 of 2003 :- In sub-sec. (2) of Sec. 11 of the Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner Act, 2003 (Act No. 13 of 2003), for the existing expression "sixty-two years", the expression "seventy years" shall be substituted. 3. Repeal and savings :- (1) The Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner (Amendment) Ordinance, 2012 (Ordinance No. 2 of 2012) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, all things done, actions taken or orders made under the principal Act as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done, taken or made under the principal Act as amended by this Act.
