Amendment of section 9 of Baroda Act, No. XVII of 1949 Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda (Amendment) Act, 2015 18 OF 2015 [15 April 2015] AN ACT further to amend the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Act. 1949. It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (Amendment) Act, 2015. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 9 of Baroda Act, No. XVII of 1949 :- I n the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Act, 1949, in section 9, for sub-section (1), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:- "(1) Shrimati Shubhangini Raje Gaekwad shall be the Chancellor of the University.".
