Application for enlistment MAHARASHTRA NURSES (PREPARATION OF LIST) RULES, 1970 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clause (k) of sub-section (2) of section 38 read with clause (b) of sub- section (2) of Section 19 of the Maharashtra Nurses Act, 1966 (Mah. XL of 1966) and of all other powers enabling it in the behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes the following rules, the same having been previously published as required by sub- section (1) of the said Section 38, namely :- 1. Short title :- These rules may be called the Maharashtra Nurses (Preparation of List) Rules, 1970. 2. Application for enlistment :- (1) Every person desiring to have his name entered in the list prepared under sub-section (1) of Section 19 of the Maharashtra Nurses Act, 1966 (Mah. XL of 1966), shall make an application to the Registrar in the Form appended to these rules, which shall be obtained from the Registrar. (2) Every application made under sub-rule (1) shall be accompanied by,- (a) a birth certificate or matriculation certificate or Secondary School Certificate or School Leaving Certificate, in original together with two copies thereof; (b) a declaration made by the applicant before a Presidency Magistrate or an Executive Magistrate, not below the rank of a Taluka Magistrate to the effect that on the 16th day of September, 1966, the applicant was regularly practicing as a nurse in any part of the State of Maharashtra; (c) certificate signed by any Gazetted Officer of the State Government or a Justice of the Peace to the effect that on the 16th day of September, 1966, the applicant was regularly practicing as a nurse in any part of the State of Maharashtra; (d) any other evidence documentary or otherwise which the applicant wants to adduce in support of his claim for enlistment.
