Repeal Of Punjab Ordinance No.Ii Of 1989 Martial Law Order No. 1371 (Repeal) Act, 1989 6 of 1989 [09 April 1989] An Act to repeal the Martial Law Order No.1371, dated February 9, 1984 issued by MLA Zone 'A' (Punjab) (Ban on Student Unions) Preamble.- Whereas it is expedient to repeal the Martial Law Order No.1371, dated February 9, 1984 issued by MLA Zone 'A' in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Martial Law Order No.1371 (Repeal) Act, 1989. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Repeal Of M.L.O. No.1371 :- The Martial Law Order No.1371 dated February 9, 1984 issued by MLA Zone A (Punjab) is hereby repealed. 3. Repeal Of Punjab Ordinance No.Ii Of 1989 :- The Martial Law Order No.1371 (Repeal) Ordinance, 1989 (Punjab Ordinance No.II of 1989) is hereby repealed.
