An Act further to amend the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act. WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, for the purposes hereinafter appearing; it is hereby enacted in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2008. 2. Amendment Of Section 124 Of Bom. Iii Of 1888 :- In section 124 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, in sub- section (1), for the words "thirtieth day of November" the words "thirty-first day of July" shall be substituted.
