Amendment of section 14A National Security (Amendment) Act, 1985 23 of 1985 [29 March 1985] An Act further to amend the National Security Act, 1980, in its application to the State of Punjab and the Union territory of Chandigarh. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirty-sixth year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the National Security (Amendment) Act, 1985. 2. Amendment of section 14A :- In the National Security Act, 1980, as applicable to the State of Punjab and the Union territory of Chandigarh, in sub-section (1) of section 14A, for the figures, letters and words "3rd day of April, 1985", the figures, letters and words "3rd day of April, 1986" shall be substituted.
