Amendment of Section 3 Public Wakfs (Extension Of Limitation) (Rajasthan Amendment) Act, 1978 21 of 1978 [Received the assent of the President on the 18th day of December, 1978] An Act further amend the Public Wakfs (Extension of Limitation) Act, 1959 in its application to the State of Rajasthan, Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-- 1. Short title, extent and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Public Wakfs (Extension of Limitation) (Rajasthan Amendment) Act, 1978. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Rajasthan. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January, 1971. 2. Amendment of Section 3 :- In section 3 of the Public Wakfs (Extension of Limitation) Act, 1959 (Central Act 29 of 1959) for the word and figures "December. 1970" the word and figures i[3!st day of December 1985] shall be substitued. 1. Subs, by Raj. 35 of 1983, with retrospective effect from 1st day of January, 1981.
