Punjab Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 2015 12 Of 2015 [31 March 2015] AN ACT to authorize the payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Punjab, for the services and purposes during the financial year, 2014-2015. BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title. :- This Act may be called the Punjab Appropriation (No.2) Act, 2015. 2. Issue of Rs. 82,11,16,12,000 out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Punjab for the financial year, 2014-15. :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Punjab, there may be paid and applied sums, not exeeding those, specified in column 5 of the Schedule, appended to this Act, amounting, in the aggregate to a sum of Rs. 82,11,16,12,000 (Eight Thousand Two Hundred Eleven Crores Sixteen Lacs and Twelve Thousand only) towards defraying several charges, which will come in the course of payment to be made during the financial year, 2014-2015, in respect of the services and purposes, specified in column 2 of the said Schedule. 3. Appropriation. :- The sums, authorized to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Punjab by this Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes, specified in the said Schedule, in relation to the financial year 2014-15. 4. Overriding effect of the Act. :- Notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act for the time being in force, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.
