Amendment Of Section 61, Act Ix Of 1890 Railways (West Pakistan Amendment) Act, 1964 23 of 1964 [11 April 1964] An Act to amend the Railways Act, 1890 Preamble.- WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Railways Act, 1890 (IX of 1890), in its application to the Province of West Pakistan in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Railways (West Pakistan Amendment) Act, 1964. 2. Amendment Of Section 35, Act Ix Of 1890 :- In the Railways Act, 1890 (IX of 1890), in its application to the Province of West Pakistan (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), in section 3, clause (14) shall be omitted. 3. Amendment Of Section 42-B, Act Ix Of 1890 :- In the said Act, in section 42-B, the words "and minimum" shall be omitted. 4. Omission Of Sections 45 And 46, Act Ix Of 1890 :- In the said Act, section 45 and section 46 shall be omitted. 5. Amendment Of Section 55, Act Ix Of 1890 :- In the said Act, in section 55 the comma and word ",terminal" occurring in sub-sections (1), (4) and (5) shall be omitted. 6. Amendment Of Section 61, Act Ix Of 1890 :- In the said Act, in section 61, clause (b) of sub-section (1) shall be omitted.
