Amendment of rule 69-B Rajasthan Excise (Third Amendment) Rules, 2010 [April 01, 2010] In exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Rajasthan Excise Act, 1950 (Act No. II of 1950), the State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Excise Rules, 1956 and orders with reference to the proviso to sub- section (3) of the said section that the previous publication of these amendment rules is dispensed with as the State Government considers that they should be brought into force at once, namely: 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Excise (Third Amendment) Rules, 2010. (2) They shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of rule 67-A :- After the existing sub -rule (1) and before sub- rule 2 of the rule 67A of the Rajasthan Excise Rules, 1956 (here in after referred to as the said rules), the following new sub- rule shall be inserted, namely: "(1a) The licence of retail shop of country liquor situated in rural areas except in the area within the radius of five km from the Municipal limits of the urban area shall pay composite fees as may be determined by the State Government, from time to time, and may sell Indian Made Foreign Liquor and Beer on such shop: Provided that the licensee of retail shop of country liquor situated within the radius of five km of Municipal limits of the urban area may also sell Indian Made Foreign Liquor and Beer on payment of composite fees as may be determined by the State Government for such urban area." 3. Amendment of rule 69-B :- In the table of rule 69-B of the said rules, in column number 3 against serial number 2 (a), for the existing expression "7.00", the expression "3.00" shall be substituted.
