Declaration Under Sec. 3, Rajasthan Act 23 Of 1958 Rajasthan Finance Act, 1978 3 of 1978 [07 April 1978] An Act to give effect the financial proposals of the State Government for the financial year 1978-79 Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Twenty ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1 Pub. in Raj. Gaz. Extra-ordi Part FV-A dated 7.4.1978 at page 1 PART 1 PART I 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Rajasthan Finance Act, 1978. PART 2 SALES TAX 2. Amendment Of Schedule To Rajasthan Act 29 Of 1954 :- I n Sub- Sec. (1) of Sec. 5 of the Rajasthan Sales Tax Act, 1954 (Rajasthan Act 29 of 1954), for the words "twenty-five percent" the words "thirty percent" shall be substituted. 3. Amendment Of Schedule To Rajasthan Act 29 Of 1954 :- I n the Schedule to the Rajasthan Sales Tax Act, 1954 (Rajasthan Act 26 of 1954) in item at Serial No.8,- (i) for entry (b) in column 2, the following shall be substituted namely :- "(b) Agricultural implements as may be specified by the State Government by notification in the official Gazette : and (ii) The entry in Column 3 shall be omitted. PART 3 MISCELLANEOUS 4. Declaration Under Sec. 3, Rajasthan Act 23 Of 1958 :- I n pursuance of Sec. 3 of the Rajasthan Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1958 (Rajasthan Act 23 of 1958) it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that clause 2 of this Bill shall have immediate effect under the said Act.
