Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Thirty ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows: - 1. Published in Raj. Gaz. Ex. Ordinance Pt. 4(Ka) -Dt. 31-3-88 Page 272 1. Short Title :- The Act may be called the Rajasthan Finance Act, 1988. 2. Declaration Under Section 3, Rajasthan Act 23 Of 1958 :- I n pursuance Section 3 of the Rajasthan Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1958 (Rajasthan Act 23 of 1958), it is hereby declared that it is expedient in public interest that clauses 3 of 7 to this Bill shall have immediate effect under the said Act. 3. Amendment Of Section 5, Rajasthan Act 29 Of 1954 :- I n Sub-Section (1) of Section 5 of the Rajasthan Sales Tax Act, 1954 (Rajasthan Act 29 of 1954), herein/after referred to as the "Sales Tax Act", for the word "sixty" the word seventy five shall be substituted. 4. Amendment Of Section 5C, Rajasthan Act 29 Of 1954 :- I n Sub- Section (1) of Section 5C of the Sales Tax Act, for the expression "2%", the expression "3%", shall be substituted. 5. Amendment Of Section 5Cc, Rajasthan Act 29 Of 1954 :- I n Sub- Section (1) of Section 5CC of the Sales Tax Act, for the expression "1%", the expression "1.5%", shall be substituted. 6. Amendment Of Section 5Cccc, Rajasthan Act 29 Of 1954 :- In Sub- Section (1) of Section 5CCCC of the Sales Tax Act, for the expression "4%", the expression "5%", shall be substituted. 7. Amendment Of Section 5H, Rajasthan Act 29 Of 1954 :- The existing Section 5H, of the Sales Tax Act shall be deleted.
