Amendment of section 3, Rajasthan Act No 13 of 2006 Rajasthan Prevention Of Defacement Of Property (Amendment) Act, 2015 12 of 2015 [04 May 2015] An Act to amend the Rajasthan Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 2006. Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Prevention of Defacement of Property (Amendment) Act, 2015. (2) It shall come into force on and from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of section 3, Rajasthan Act No 13 of 2006 :- I n sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Rajasthan Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 2006 (Act No 13 of 2006), for the existing expression "one month or with fine which shall not be less than one hundred rupees but which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both, and in case of each subsequent offence, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month or with fine which shall not be less than two hundred rupees but which may extend to two thousand rupees or with both.", the expression "one year or with fine which shall not be less than five thousand rupees but which may extend to ten thousand rupees or with both, and in case of each subsequent offence, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which shall not be less than ten thousand rupees but which may extend to twenty thousand rupees or with both." shall be substituted.
