Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-- 1. Corrected for Teaches" vide Corrigendum No. F. 2(2) Vidhi/2/2013, dated. 29.5.2013--Raj. Gaz., Exty., Pt. 4(A), dated. 30.5.2013, p. 19. 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Universities Teachers and Officers (Selection for Appointment) (Amendment) Act, 2013. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on and from 10th December, 2012. 2. Amendment of Sec. 5, Rajasthan Act No. 18 of 1974 :- In the existing sub-sec. (1) of Sec. 5 of the Rajasthan Universities Teachers and Officers (Selection for Appointment) Act, 1974 (Act No. 18 of 1974), hereinafter referred to in this Act as the principal Act,-- (i) in second proviso, for the punctuation mark "." appearing at the end, the punctuation " : " shall be substituted; and (ii) after the second proviso so amended, the following new proviso shall be added, namely:-- "Provided also that the Selection Committee for teaching posts in the faculty of Engineering and Architecture shall also include an expert to be nominated by the Syndicate out of a panel of names recommended by the Council of Architecture.". 3. Repeal and savings :- (1) The Rajasthan Universities Teachers and Officers (Selection for Appointment) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2012 (Ordinance No. 13 of 2012) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, all things done, all actions taken o r orders made under the principal Act as amended by the said Ordinance shall be to have been done taken or made under the principal Act as amended by this Act.
