Price control in respect of certain salt SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE SALT (PRICE CONTROL) ORDER, 1977 1 -In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec. 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following order, namely : 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Order may be called the Salt (Price Control) Order, 1977. (2) It shall come into force on the 27th day of September, 1977. 2. Price control in respect of certain salt :- No person shall sell uncrushed salt or crushed salt works specified in Column (1) of the Schedule appended to this order for despatch by sea to the port of Calcutta at a price exceeding the price specified in the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) of the said Schedule respectively.
