SCHOOL HEALTH INSPECTOR, (CLASS-HI)(PANCHAYAT SERVICE) RECRUITMENT RULES, 2000 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 227 read with Section 274 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1993 (Guj. 18 of 1993) and in supersession of all the rules made in this behalf, the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of School Health Inspector (Class III) (Panchayat Service), namely 1. . :- These rules may be called the School Health Inspector, (Class-III) (Panchayat Service) Recruitment Rules, 2000. 2. Appointment to the post of School Health Inspector :- (Class- III), (Panchayat Service) shall be made either :- (a) by promotion of a person of proved merit and efficiency from amongst the persons who have worked as Para Medical Assistant, (Class-Ill) (Panchayat Service) for not less than five years: or (b) by transfer on deputation from suitable persons working on the cadre of Epidemologist-cum-Sanitary Supervisor, (Class-III) (Panchayat Service). 3. . :- A candidate appointed shall be required to undergo such training for such period and pass such post training examination as may be prescribed by the Government. 4. . :- A selected candidate shall be required to pass the departmental examination and an examination in Gujarati or Hindi or both as may be prescribed by the Government.
