Method of marking SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE I SKINS (GRADING AND MARKING) RULES, 1937 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec. 3 of the Agricultural Produce (Grading and Marking) Act, 1937 (1) of 1937), the Governor General in Council is pleased to make the following rules, which have already been published as required under the section mentioned above :- 1. Short title and application :- (1) These Rules may be called the Skins (Grading and Marking) Rules, 1937. (2) They shall apply to Skins produced in India. 2. Grade designations :- Grade designations to indicate the quality of Skins Goat and Sheep) are set out in column 1 of Schedule 1. 3. Definition of quality :- T he quality indicated by such grade designations is set out, against such designations, in columns 2 to 10 of Schedule 1. 4. Grade designation mars :- The grade designation mark shall consist of a metal label of the design and shape set out in Schedule II. 5. Method of marking :- The grade designation mark label shall be attached lo each skin on the tail near the root by means of a wire and secured with a lead seal bearing the word AGMARK.
