Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called the Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Amendment Act, 2008. 2. Amendment Of Section 2 :- In section 2 of the Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Act, 1956(55 of 1956), for the word "twenty-five", the word "thirty" shall be substituted.
