Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixtieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-- 1. Received the Assent of the Governor of Tamil Nadu on January 31, 2010 -- Published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV, Section 2, Iss. No.27, page 6, dated February 1, 2010. 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Amendment Act, 2010. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Short Title And Commencement :- In Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1976 (Presidents Act 25 of 1976), in sub- section (1), for the expression "thirty three years and eight months ", the expression "thirty four years and two months " shall be substituted.
