Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Second Amendment) Act, 2008. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment Of Section 89 :- In Section 89 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983), in the proviso to sub-section (1), for the expression "seven years", the expression "seven years and six months " shall be substituted.
