Amendment of section 27 Tamil Nadu Physical Education And Sports University (Amendment) Act, 2014 14 OF 2014 [03 September 2014] An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University Act, 2004. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University (Amendment) Act, 2014. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 11 :- In section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University Act, 2004 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for sub-section (1), the following subsection shall be substituted, namely :- "(1) The Minister in-charge of the portfolio of Sports and Youth Welfare in the State of Tamil Nadu shall be the Pro-Chancellor of the University.". 3. Amendment of section 27 :- In section 27 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), for clause (c), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(c) The Secretary to Government in-charge of Youth Welfare and Sports Development;".
