Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixtieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- - 1. Received the Assent of the Governor of Tamil Nadu on February 2, 2010 -- Published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV, Section 2, Iss. No.38, page 1, dated February 12, 2010. 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Rosewood Trees (Conservation) Amendment Act, 2010. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment Of Section 1 :- In sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Rosewood Trees (Conservation) Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 1 of 1995), for the expression "fifteen years", the expression "thirty years", shall be substituted.
