Amendment of section 9-A Tamil Nadu Town And Country Planning (Amendment) Act, 2014 21 OF 2014 [03 September 2014] An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixtyfifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Act, 2014. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 9-A :- In section 9-A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971, in sub-section (2),- (a) after clause (c), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- "(cc) the senior most Chief Planner in the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority;"; (b) after clause (h), the following clause shall be added, namely:- "(i) a Professor in Town Planning in the School of Architecture and Planning, to be nominated by the Anna University.".
